FREE teacher workshop to build your own smartphone microscope with a UNC scientist. Funded in part through the National Science Foundation, UNC Biology Professor Bob Goldstein will lead teachers through a simple DIY workshop to build a high quality, low cost smartphone/iPad digital microscope.
The workshop serves teachers in our local schools and educators throughout our community, provides opportunity for professional development, as well as encourages idea and resource exchange. Light refreshments will be served. A tour of the Kidzu Children’s Museum is available prior to workshop. Advanced registration required. Registration for school teachers online only.
